In order to improve the physical properties of raw zinc oxide extracted by zinc steam such as direct zinc oxide and indirect zinc oxide on ceramic glazes and the influence of its related chemical composition, heavy calcined zinc oxide is obtained after high-temperature processing and calcination. Calcined zinc oxide has a high specific gravity. It has good fluidity, and the glaze produced by it has low shrinkage, and pinholes and cracks are not easy to appear on the glaze surface. In addition to the high specific gravity, the product quality standard of calcined zinc oxide is the same as that of grade zinc oxide. The zinc oxide calcined at high temperature is light yellow and its melting point is 1975℃.
Calcined zinc oxide is an important raw material for ceramic chemical flux, especially in building ceramic wall and floor tile glazes, low-temperature porcelain glazes and ceramic colorants. It is also widely used in artistic ceramic glazes. Function and use in glaze: 2n0 has a strong dynamic melting effect in glaze, which can reduce the expansion coefficient of glaze, improve the thermal stability of the product, and at the same time increase the gloss and whiteness of the glaze surface and improve the elasticity of the glaze.
It can increase the brilliance of the glaze while expanding the melting range.
